THE LATEST AT MIDTOWN
Join Ani for yoga this Saturday from 8:30-9:30am!
Yoga for All meets you where you’re at. With many options for every pose, including options for a seated chair, explore the strength, flexibility and joy yoga can bring your body exactly as it is today. We’ll be doing a gentle flow sequence perfect for warming up before, or stretching out after, exploring the farmer’s market.
So much is happening this Tuesday at the market! Douala Soul Collective will be spinnin’ records from 3:30-5:30pm, PLUS find ~free~ Zumba from 5:30-6:30pm. Our market sponsor, Mother Earth Gardens will be around to talk gardening and after all that, maybe grab a Geek Love slice and a beer at Moon Palace? In any case, don’t snooze on Tues!
By now, you’ve heard about our wonderful new temporary location at Moon Palace Books, just on the other side of Hiawatha. However, we want to make sure we don’t leave our Corcoran neighbors (who may not be plugged in via newsletter or social media) wondering where we’ve gone.
No Market this Saturday, May 18th! 🌩☔
Join us at Moon Palace Books this Saturday for Urban Agriculture Day! It also happens to be International Compost Awareness Week. This week gives us an opportunity to consider our environmental impact in how we eat, where our food comes from, and how our leftovers can give back to the earth.
Just one more month until you can party with us every Saturday at Moon Palace Books!
Join us on Saturday, May 4th from 8am-1pm for opening-day-only food trucks like, Food Truck El Victor and K-Town Street Foods. Enjoy music from Lonnie “the L Train” and the Brass Messengers in celebration of spring’s return! Visit with new vendors and old favorites. Don’t forget (and spread the word!) you’ll find us in the lot between Moon Palace Books and the Hub Bike Co-op this season and next.
Join the Midtown Farmers Market on Monday, March 4th for a night out at Du Nord Craft Spirits! We’re celebrating our move to Moon Palace Books, and we want to share our excitement with you. Come for a fun evening of market-themed trivia, craft drinks, a local meat drawing, and fresh, new market merch. For every drink purchased, $1 goes to the market. Thanks, Du Nord!
Are you interested in vending at the market, but a little intimidated by the process? Midtown Farmers
Market and Corcoran Neighborhood’s Try It! Program could be for
you!
The Try It! Program seeks to give small businesses an opportunity to try a farmer’s
market experience at the Midtown Farmers Market with limited financial investment. Our goal is to help
emerging entrepreneurs explore whether or not becoming a vendor at the Midtown Farmers Market is a good
fit for them and their product. We prioritize Twin Cities residents who identify as having low-income, are
black, indigenous and/ or people of color, identify as women, trans, femme, or gender non-binary. Since
2003, the Midtown Farmers Market has built a reputation for incubating small businesses, and we strive to
ensure that the opportunity to innovate and grow is accessible and beneficial to all community
members.
