Job Openings.

Friends of the Market.
Vendor fees only cover about half the cost of running the market. To make up the rest, we rely on sponsors, grants and the generous support of members of our community. Your contributions make the market happen, from tents and tables to organizing and communicating with vendors to the equipment and training for accepting EBT that makes the fresh food at our market accessible to everyone. The market is an important part of our community and the lives of our customers and it needs your support.
You can donate online, mail a check to the market office, or make your contribution in person via the giant carrot located by the entrance to the market.
Volunteer.

From day-to-day needs to year-round operations, the Midtown Farmers Market relies on a dedicated team
of volunteers to greet customers, post fliers, help with market set-up and take-down, and work
behind-the-scenes to ensure a viable future for the market. We also have weekly volunteers who
assist us with implementing our waste reduction program at the market. If you have time to give and
are looking for an opportunity to meet friends and become more closely connected to the market
community, please contact us or sign up here.
Advisory Committee.
The Midtown Farmers Market Advisory Committee takes a lead role in marketing, fundraising, and event planning for the market in coordination with the market manager — the market’s only full time employee. The committee is made up of volunteers who shop the market, value connectedness in our community, and share an interest in food-access issues and eating well. If you’re passionate about the market and are interested in learning more, please see our position description or contact our manager today or visit the green market tent May–October and say hello.
