Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Everywhere!
“When you see me in the fields,
My orange glowing in the sun,
It’s time to say goodbye to summer
and hello to autumn fun!!”
Pumpkins are showing up everywhere around the market these days – big ones, little ones, green ones, orange ones, oblong ones and round ones. Not only do they make great decor for you, but they can also be the main ingredient in a variety of meals and desserts. They are even good for you – stocked full of vitamin A and E.
Check out the recipe below and include pumpkins in your next meal. Stop by the market on Saturday to pick up some pumpkins and stay for the music, coffee, baked goods and other prepared foods. Tuesday will also be filled with pumpkins, music and other produce for you to stock up on for the upcoming winter (the market will be open until the end of October).
