Bike, walk, and bite into fresh flavors this week!

It’s Bike Walk Week in the Twin Cities: the Sabo bridge has re-opened, Greenway Glow is Saturday night, Open Streets Minneapolis is Sunday, and you can enter to win a Midtown Farmers Market bike pannier if you bike to the market! Bike through on Saturday and start your weekend with fresh coffee, breakfast, and berries. Stop by on your commute home from work on Tuesday to enter the raffle, sip a cold drink, and grab farm-fresh ingredients for dinner!  The raffle lasts all month, and you’ll find more information here.

A balance of light, water, and temperature bring the growing season, and with it the Midtown Farmers Market. Our planet is tilted, that’s why we have seasons, and why the Market doesn’t last all year long. Draw your shadow, notice where our star – the Sun – is in the sky. Talk about the Solar System and our planet’s place in it. Decorate and take home a gnomon. Everyone is welcome to join!
