Market Operations and Community Engagement Volunteers are needed for 2-4 hr. shifts every Saturday May through October. Opportunities include assisting with market set-up and tear-down, customer service and token sales, community engagement, staffing the market info booth, customer counts, photography, fundraising, and other market management tasks. Vendor fees only cover about half the cost of running the market. To make up the rest, we rely on sponsors, grants and the generous support of members of our community. Your contributions make the market happen, from tents and tables to organizing and communicating with vendors to the equipment and training for accepting EBT that makes the fresh food at our market accessible to everyone. The market is an important part of our community and the lives of our customers and it needs your support.

Help spread the good word about the work we do! Each season, the Midtown Farmers Market welcomes nonprofit organizations to connect with community members at the Market through our Community Table program. Community Tables offer a great opportunity for program outreach, awareness-raising, education, marketing, fundraising, member or volunteer recruitment, and old-fashioned community building.
