Celebrate June at the Midtown Farmers Market!

Posted June 4, 2015 at 1:02 pm

Isn’t June a wonderful month?  Spring turns to summer, Tuesday markets start, and new produce arrives each week!  Soon, our vendors will have tables overflowing with peas, beets, beans, strawberries and much, much more!

Stop by this Saturday between 8am-1pm and this Tuesday between 3-7pm to see what delicious new things have been harvested and to pick up more of your spring favorites like asparagus, rhubarb, and lettuce before they’re gone!

On Saturday, the next Folwell Connections Mural painting party will be at the market from 10am-12pm.  Embrace you inner artist and lend a hand! More information can be found here.

Don’t forget about FREE YWCA classes at the market each week!  R.I.P.P.E.D is on Saturdays from 8:30-9:30am.  Zumba is on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm.

Free rides to the market are also back for the first Saturday of the month in June, thanks to our wonderful partners at Metro Transit. Click the button on the sidebar to the right to answer a few simple question and then print out your pass for a free ride on any Metro Transit LRT or bus routes!
