Celebrate Honey Bees and Native Pollinators this Saturday!

Posted June 16, 2015 at 1:21 pm

We think honey bees and native pollinators are pretty neat.  Come to the market this Saturday from 8-1 to find out why!

Schedule
8-1pm: Stop by the Market Science Booth to watch meet real honey bees, taste honey and more!

8:45-9am: Enjoy your market breakfast while listening to a presentation about Native Pollinators from local author, Heather Holm.

10am-12pm: Midtown Flavors Cooking with Honey Demonstration

10:30am: Bring the kids to the MN Literacy Council tent for Bee and Pollinator themed story time.

10:50-11:05am: If you missed Heather Holm’s earlier talk, here’s your second chance to hear an awesome presentation about Native Pollinators.

11:30am: Story time #2

12:30pm: Story time #3

As you meander through the market, stop and say “hello” to our regular honey vendor, Bare Honey, and our two special guest vendors, Worker B and Mademoiselle Miel.

Thank you to this Saturday’s Market Sponsor, Nicollet Ace Hardware!

Don’t forget to stop by the information booth under the green tent to enter the FREE drawing to win a bee keeping kit!
